NCPLH is now APLH

BIIAB Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders

INNfluential would like to inform all of our Customers that the BIIAB Level 2 National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (NCPLH) has been replaced (with effect from 1^st April 2011) by the BIIAB Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH).

The APLH is accredited on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) , and learners will have to sit the QCF unit The Legal and Social Responsibilities of a Personal Licence Holder. This unit has been collaboratively developed by People 1^st, the Sector Skills Council for the industry, and a number of leading Awarding Bodies including BIIAB.

• The examination for APLH will be the same as NCPLH i.e.40 multiple choice question, 28 pass mark

• The very competitive cost of the APLH from INNfluential will remain the same as the NCPLH.

• Anyone achieving their NCPLH on or before 31/3/2011 can use this qualification to apply for their personal licence – the qualification is still valid and is not time bound

Anyone failing a sitting of NCPLH prior to 31/3/11 who needs to re-sit after 1/4/11 will have to take the APLH although there is minimum change to the criteria and any relevant amendments will be communicated to our clients
